Nuclear power is environmentally friendly

Did you know that a nuclear powered ship or submarine actually is STEAM POWERED. The nuclear energy is used to heat water, and those ships and subs actually function on engines that work exactly like a steam trains engine works, except - there's no smoke! So those engines are actually powered by STEAM, which is merely WATER... and that is as eco-friendly as you can get!

Not entirely accurate, or a bit misleading however you want to look at it. Yes the nuclear reactor heats water creating steam which drives turbines. However, the turbines do not directly power the craft. In most cases, the steam turbines power a generator which produces electricity which powers the craft and stores reserved in batteries. While under normal circumstances, nuclear power is ecologically friendly, in the event of an accident or leak ... it is far from that.

First of all, it is said "nuclear energy",not "nuclear power". Nuclear fusion reaction are safer and generate less radioactive waste than fission reaction. These reactions appear potentially viable, though technically quite difficult and have yet to be created on a scale that could be used in a functional power plant.
So only energy generated during process of a nuclear fusion is enviromnentally friendly and safe.
