How did the Internet Start and Why?

It all started with the time-sharing of IBM computers in the early 1960s at universities such as Dartmouth and Berkeley in the States. People would share the same computer for their computing tasks. The Internet also received help from Sputnik! After this Russian Satellite was launched in 1957, President Eisenhower formed ARPA to advance computer networking and communication.
Plus, we will not even mention that whole industry where people show their naughty bits.

  2. Internet evolved from ARPANET,which was developed in 1969,by the US Department of Defense. They wanted a communication system that could not be destroyed in the event of an emergency. So they linked computers over telephone lines so that if one computer failed to work, the others could still communicate with each other.
