The first self-propelled car was invented by Nicolas Cugnot in 1769th It was designed with three wheels and an engine in the front along with the Boiler. The car was able to run at a speed of 6 km / h (3.75 mp/h). The first self-propelled car was first used by French Army to move Cannons.
