Biggest shark ever
The biggest shark ever lived was "Megalodon". Lived up to 1.5 million years ago. These sharks were the real monsters, compared with them, great white sharks are as aquarium fish.
It is assumed that they were up to 25 meters long (82 ft), and were weight up to 50 tons. This is of course assessment, because the only bone in the shark body are teeth. This tooth has a slant height of 7.37 inch (18.73 cm) and a root width of 5.5 inch (13.97 cm). Jaws of this sharks were so large that could fit a grown man.
Scientists still lead the debate on these sharks. Some believe that is still hiding in the dark depths of the ocean, others believe that they extinct, and third, that they are actually great white sharks that have adapted the new situation.
To show you how big these sharks rely was, on picture you can see fossilized tooth of this shark.
