Richest country of the world

In the treasures of national banks throughout the world are currently being kept in total about 30 200 tonnes of gold reserves. World Gold Council reported that the most gold kept the United States nearly 8140 tons, followed by Germany with 3400 and the International Monetary Fund, which has more than 3,000 tons of gold.
In the list of the World Council following: Italy, France, China, Switzerland, Japan, Russia and the Netherlands.
India has taken 11 place, then follows the European Central Bank, which kept in the treasures 501.4 tons of gold. On top list of 50 countries that have the largest gold reserves in the world, find the Greece and Romania at 30 and 31 place.

USA has the biggest gold reserves, but it is not world's richest country.

I know without bragging, Australia has come out of the GFC unscathed, largely becasue we work harder than anyone else in the world.
