Most interstate roads

Experts say that the best indicator of the development of a country is road length, because it takes a lot of money to made inter-state road. If this is the main indicator, then the old Rome was more developed then todays U.S. Official statistics said that the ancient Romans had 52,000 miles of roads that connect all the provinces in the Empire, and that the United States of 2004 had 46,837 miles of interstate roads.
